Los Tacos

This was our first visit to Los Tacos and we had a great experience! The food was delicious. We had the chicken and beef quesadillas; the beef was our favorite of the two. The chips and salsa are the best we’ve had in Texarkana. They also had three additional salsas to try with our meal which made for some spicy, but extra yummy bites. The location is perfect, it’s downtown next to the historic court house and stateline marker, which makes it a great stop for hungry tourists as well as locals. Samantha was our sever and she was very knowledgeable, super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Really a fun place to eat. Beautiful old building that has been redone. The food was good and the staff were friendly. I had the Taco Tuesday special. We both ate for $30 and that included a 25% tip and a drink. Oh they also got us an off menu avocado to go with the tacos. The house mango salsa sauce is good, give it a try.

We tried the Thursday Taco special with two quesadillas (Mexican Sausage and Steak, Bistek). We were visiting the state line monument next to the Post Office and thought we would stop at the random taco spot next to it. BEST DECISION EVER!!! I thought you can only find street tacos like this in Mexico or California, but these will make you think you are there. The flavor is like the traditional buche meats, they have the same selection, and the price is very worth it. We will always stop by here when stopping through TXK. Very nice atmosphere and design, reminds me of an old school diner or saloon, so much historical value and ambience and the host is very welcoming and attentive. Incredible experience! I had two bistec tacos and a campechano quesadilla with their awesome pineapple salsa for dinner. Super delicious! I left happy and well-fed. Shout-out to Samantha for awesome service. She even asked me if I had any suggestions for their incredible menu. Give this place lots of love and help it grow! It'll be even better with margaritas!

This was my first time here. Samantha made sure we had everything we needed. Service with a smile!
