We’ve dined here a few times and dropped in to get tacos as well. This visit I decided to get the Breakfast Skillet and it did not disappoint. It’s actually a lot of food for the price. Brought out on a skillet, definitely fresh veggies, lots of tomatoes too, sausage and eggs done your way. I like supporting “hole in the wall” family restaurants and this is one I’d encourage taking the time to get off the highway to visit.

Wonderful homemade cooking! It's a little old shop that you can't miss. But don't let the size doubt you, the inside is very clean and the people are indeed very helpful & respectful. I loved the food! I was very impressed with the enchiladas. The enchiladas here didn't fall apart or became a mess like other places. The sauce and amount of spice was perfect! I haven't had them that good in a while. The tacos were very flavorful and perfectly looked and fresh. The meat didn't taste old or reheated meat like other locations. The pricing of the food was reasonable. I was impressed that - that amount of food was for that price. I was more than happy to tip. We will definitely go back!

The food was absolutely delicious. The servings were big. And the food was piping hot and fresh. It's a small place, probably less than ten tables, and they only had one waitress, so the wait for her to come back around to our table was long. The food was not overpriced at all. Loved it. Will definitely go back.

Puffy tacos are as good as any I've had in San Antonio. Beef filling is picadillo with the little potatoes just like mom used to make. Rice is tasty and the beans seem legit refried. Prices are very fair. Get there early as they close by 3pm.

Wonderful family owned restaurant. Everything is homemade and fresh. Lunch specials are always good. My favorite breakfast tacos! Breakfast Skillet is awesome!
