Los Pollos Rotisserie & Grill

I really wanted some chicken last night after a long day at work. Jaliscos was packed next door and I didn't feel like dealing with the crowd. The Arizona bowl caught my eye on the menu. It was my first time trying the place. Even tho it was after dark, I did like the outdoor seating and seeing some families that appeared to be regulars at the picnic tables. When my bowl came out, it was definitely a reasonable serving size. I kept digging and digging for the chicken, but there was none. There was broccoli and cauliflower tho. The yellow rice, pinto beans, Pico, guac, cheddar and tortilla strips were as they should, but it felt like it was just haphazardly thrown together. First time visiting this restaurant. I'd heard good things so I decided to try it. I got ordered "to go". I sat down at a table, put the number vin viewing range and waited. Saw people come, in sit down, get their food. Saw other people come in place to go orders,Get their food. I was still standing there. The two young ladies who were taking orders saw me standing, waiting, and never asked me anything. Never went to check on my order. I finally stopped the lady who was coming from the back giving people their food and asked her if she could check on my order and she immediately reappeared with my food. The food was good but I am so customer service focused that I probably won't go back because I don't see the need to get disappointed again.

First time here with my husband and we really liked it! I loved that they have Peruvian food on the menu. The arroz con pollo and the roasted chicken were my favorites. Everything was delicious. I’d definitely come back to try more Peruvian dishes.

The food was insanely delicious, I ordered a whole chicken with fried yuca, yellow rice and black beans. The chicken was well seasoned with flavor, the rice was cooked wonderfully, the fried yuca was fried perfectly and the sauce that came with it was fantastic, and the black beans was so FLAVORFUL!!!

I feel like such a fool for waiting so long to try this place out! Wow! I am so excited that I can add this to my list of Gainesville food gems. We tried the quarter chicken, steak, white rice, yellow rice, corn, and tortillas and everything was incredible. For me, this is the best quick & healthy food option I have found so far in Gainesville. So clean, friendly staff, cutesy outdoor seating. Loveeeeee
