Los Pinos Taco Shop

I’ve been coming to Los Pinos since I was a kid, and I’ve honestly been addicted ever since. Even after all these years, the quality is still outstanding every single time I go. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently excellent. It’s rare to find a place that has been around this long and still maintains such high standards. Los Pinos is one of those special spots that never disappoints, and it’s been a favorite of mine for years.

Easily one of the best taco shops in ALL of san diego county. Good selection, friendly staff, well made food and they have no problem with special requests. You can tell the meat is good quality, Never chewy like alot of the berto places. Smooth beans, rice is flavorful. Tacos are huge here, almost burrito size! They put a roasted jalapeno on every plate! 3 different salsas and the carrots are cooked and soft. I hate when places give you raw hard pickled carrots, not here. Once you try it you realize Its worth going out of you way to pick up

My favorite spot! Hidden Gem! I work nearby and was recommended this place from a client of mine, I always get the Carne Asada, whether it’s tacos, burritos or quesadillas. Portions are large! Place is clean and the people running it are always so nice! I tend to wait outside or in my car and they always pop out to let me know it’s ready, so polite and give you as much sauce as you like! The hibiscus tea is amazing! They were also doing a free burrito to the first customers of the day today! I got 2 burritos for under $14. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! If you haven’t been definitely give them a try! I’m from NY and my standards for food are high and I haven’t found a burrito place I really like until this one! I’ve gone countless times and they never miss! Always f

Meh. We ordered two burritos. They were edible. Not particularly flavorful. Mainly doing a review because this place doesn't deserve a 4.5 star rating. We've been to much better restaurants.

Never one to write reviews but I recently moved nearby and found this place by random. I’ve been there a handful of times now and every single time the friendliness and atmosphere are off the charts. Two of those times he gave me free additions to my order for really no reason. The food is good but the service is really above and beyond
