Logistics: park at any lot nearby. You’ll eat at your car, standing on the street, or walk across the road to use outdoor seating at another establishment. Pay with cash or Zelle. Burrito was $13, strawberry drink was $6. On to the food. I had the Al pastor burrito. Phenomenal taste, huge burrito, loaded with juicy tasty meat. Salsas on the side as you wish, fresh toppings inside to create the ideal burrito. Fresh rice and beans, clean cut veggies, and a solid al pastor tower cooking meat fresh for your enjoyable consumption. $13 feels like a lot for street food, but it’s better taste and more than you’d get at a restaurant. $6 for the strawberry drink on the side. It was huge, but also had a decent amount of ice. Still very tasty. Atmosphere is decent. Eating on the street or across the
The first taco stand I’ve ever seen let you customize your taco toppings – you can put as much onion, cilantro, grilled onions and salsa as you want. The tacos are average price ($3.50) but packed with meat. Parking is extremely limited so take note! My personal favorite is the Al pastor – it’s constantly rotating and charred which pairs well with the pineapple pieces. The carne asada was slightly dry and could be seasoned better. The salsas were average in my opinion. They need an orange sauce salsa or spicier one. I also wish they had jalapeños on the side. The burrito is packed with a generous amount of al pastor meat, a small amount of rice and beans, and you can decide what type of vegetables to include in it. Same with the quesadilla. The horchata was excellent – one of the better
The best Al Pastor in town. The tacos are amazing. And they pack their burritos full of meat. I fully recommend trying this food stand.
This is a cool spot. The pastor tacos I had were phenomenal. The chicken burrito I had was surprisingly not flavorful. I’m not sure why. The rice is really fluffy and the chicken was good texture, but I think maybe it just needed salt? The location is a little hard to pull up to as well. But it’s worth a try.
Los Pinches Tacos al pastor tacos were reaaally good! The pastor was cut fresh from the trompo, well seasoned, sweet pineapple taste.. just mouthwateringly delicious. Even the tortillas were grilled perfectly. Plenty of options on the side as well to dress up your tacos to your liking. Plus you can’t beat the price for the quality, I paid $12.50 for 3 tacos and a soda. Honestly the Best Tacos I’ve have in a long time/especially in south SJ. I will definitely be back!
