Los Parrilleros Mexican Grille

This is my new go to place for excellent Mexican food. Photos are from several visits. The food is so delicious. This is going to sound weird, but they have the BEST rice and beans. There’s something maybe smoky about them. There’s a pitcher of margaritas in one of the photos. I can’t remember the price but it was about the cost of two margaritas to get the whole pitcher. The menu is very large so I keep going back to try more dishes. No complaints about that.

We came across this place completely by accident on our weekend bike ride. The food is exceptional, service good, and it's very reasonably priced. I loved the fact that they have thick, rich, flavorful mole sauce! It's not something I've been able to find in Louisiana. Los Parrilleros will for sure be a deliberate destination next time. They have salsa verde on the menu and we'll be back to try it. It's another one of those things that I can't find close to home.

This was our first order and we placed it to-go. Just a heads up for anyone reading: there is a charge to use a card and also a .75 charge for to-go orders. We ordered Enchiladas Tapatias and Burrito Special with extra rice and beans on the side. The service was fast and efficient and the food itself was excellent! This restaurant is so close to home so we will be back.

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles, delicious aromas, and a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. The food is phenomenal. Every dish is bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with fresh ingredients and a lot of love. We love this place. The food and service have been awesome each time. The food is always hot, fresh, plentiful, and full of flavor. The prices are very reasonable as well. This is the best Mexican restaurant in Pike County, in our opinion! Highly recommend! Edited to add: Their restrooms are VERY clean.
