My husband & I road trip through AZ once a year & will go a hundred miles (at least) out of our way to get food here. It’s SO good, great flavor, made fresh while you wait, they offer sides like pickled veggies, grilled peppers, fresh hot tostadas, a variety of salsas. An expansive menu so you can get exactly what you’re hankering for. There is a little table inside, but most customers were ordering at the drive thru or picking up take out. My stomach is grumbling thinking about it. And really, really nice staff too. Don’t miss this gem if you love Mexican food. And treat yourself to a fresh churro!

I was told by friends that the world’s best burrito was made at this place. I am talking about the Madrazo burro, which has grilled steak, grilled shrimp, and some sort of cream that is beyond words. It truly was the best burrito I have ever eaten. I also ordered a side of the green chile and the refried beans. They were really, really good. I also ordered the shrimp ceviche tostada that was covered in slices of avocado. It was good and very fresh. Alex and Ricardo run the place, and they are super friendly. Their customer service is amazing. As far as seating goes, there are two very small tables inside, and a few tables that seat 4 to 6 people outside. I will definitely be back, even though it is an hour from my home. The tortillas are to die for!

What happened? Shrimp burrito is still very good, but the red chile, which used to be exceptional, is now tough cubes with almost no flavor. Very disappointed.

Small drive thru Mexican cafe, with a home style feel and taste. We've stopped here for years when traveling from Phoenix to eastern AZ. Don't make the mistake of judging by appearance for the quality of food served here. They go out of their way to make sure you get the best food possible, case in point I order a burrito not found on the menu, bean, potato and Hatch green chili. They take a fresh green chili, cook it and mix it into the rest of my order. 🤤
