The service was excellent and the food was an 8.5/10. My empanada and tacos were delicious but my consommé was a bit bland. I got the hibiscus aqua fresca and it was one of the best I've ever had 🙌 so delicious

You want the best Mexican food? This is it. Don’t confuse this for Tex mex. That’s down the road. This is THE best Mexican food. Fresh, flavor, authentic. You do not get better than this. From Conway to Georgetown, this IS the best. I got my usual, a torta Cubana. We also had sopes, tacos, and a gordita.

We had a wonderful experience here. The food was absolutely amazing — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Our waitress went above and beyond, especially with our little boy. She and made him feel so special.

I have to give a shoutout to Gloria, she came and seated us right away and she was the best waitress we’ve had while we’ve been on this trip so far! If you want real authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go. It’s truly a hidden gem, from the outside you’d never think they have such good food but it’s awesome! The beans and rice are amazing. I could a chimichanga with shrimp and they loaded it up on the shrimp. Not sure what kind of cheese they used in it but it was so good. The waitress Gloria was super sweet she checked on us multiple times. My fiancé is deaf and she was so polite and took the time to repeat herself if he needed her too. Los Gordibuenos is hands-down our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area! Being from Mexico, I’m always on the hunt for authentic flavors, and this is the only place that truly hits the mark. We have tried almost everything on the menu, and honestly, you can’t go wrong everything is delicious and the food never disappoints. The drinks are also a highlight! You get great portions for very fair prices, so it’s an excellent value. What makes it even better is the service. The owner is always around, personally making sure every customer is taken care of. If you’re looking for a real taste of Mexico with a welcoming atmosphere, you should definitely try it!
