Got my sandwich order wrong 4x different times & 3x on ine sandwich order, then asked me the stay with the incorrect order bc they didn’t want to get in trouble. Then I ordered a donut & when I looked into the case where the pastries were it was FULL of flies & fruit flies all over the uncovered pastries. I told the lady but she didn’t even flinch. I use to love going here & getting my sandwiches, growing up I went with my grandparents on the weekends. I can’t even imagine ever eating there again now. Sorry do not recommend!!!

On Sunday morning 11/22/2020 I stopped by to get a Ham and Cheese Sandwich Hot with mayonnaise the way I like it. Not worth the money, they give you like a half of a sandwich. The sandwich barely has any ham and cheese on it. The coffee I asked for tasted watered down. The food looks worse and taste worse than the neighborhood it’s in. If you want real tasting and better quality food go to Borinquén Bakery at 711 Park Street in Hartford. Everything there taste great. This was my first time here at the Cubanitos Bakery and my last time.

I am putting one star but really no stars. On 11/4/23 i ordered 3 cubanito and 3 pastries. The clerk gave me 6 sandwiches and 4 pastries. When trying to explain to the manager what I ordered she could not comprehend / English of what happened. Customer got involved which should not of. He was out of order and place. If one should go here you need an interpreter to ensure the order is taken correctly. So, I left with food I didn’t order and a bill that did not agree to what I request to have. The manager has no customer service skills. Totally disappointed ☹️

Fantastic always fresh made daily no preservatives bread. Taste fantastic! And when everything everywhere is expensive this place is not. A huge loaf of fresh hot made bread $2.50 exactly. Highly highly recommend this bakery! 🥯🧁 🍞 Super Inexpensive Super high quality. Friendly staff. A+++ (I have a champagne taste with beer money)
