Los Aztecas Restaurant

This is hands down the most authentic and delicious Mexican food in Ocean county! The owners take great pride in their work and it shows in their meals. Run don’t walk to this place you will never be disappointed. Make sure to order the homemade guacamole.

My husband and I have been looking for an authentic Mexican spot after the one we went to closed. Most likely due to location (Floor & Decor shopping center on 37). We were hopeful this spot would be good becuase their website is eh. Walked in and was greeted with a smile. Ordered a chicken burrito bowl, chorizo nachos, chicken enchiladas and kids quesadilla. All well made and delicious. Crispy tortillas, real beans, chicken and chorizo on point n good cheese. Finally after months of searching in the area we found our spot. Prices were good as well. FYI already took a bite outta the rice n bowl cause it smelled so good. Good potions too!

We knew this place was going downhill, was hoping things have changed. Definitely somethings going on here, food took a downward spiral How do you burn a burrito? By the time we got home, which is less than five minutes away. Everything was ice cold. Been going to this place for over 20 years, when they were first located at the old ocean first bank.Watched it change ownership several times. This time whoever owns it should wake up. The food is terrible. Not like the old days. You lost a regular. Overpriced and horrible! Could not finish my reheated plate.

The food was delicious and just perfect. My husbands Chimichanga was nice and spicy as per him & my Pollo loco was great. Wish they were open a little later but okay. Back again, this time getting La Mexicana quesadillas

We stopped in for breakfast one day and returned a few days later to try dinner. The food and service are great! I had the chicken enchiladas (Verde) and my husband had the pollo con mole. Everything was great! We both had chilaquiles with eggs for breakfast. Unfortunately, they were devoured before I could get pictures.
