Had a great time here. The Arancini was delicious. The Flatiron Steak was decent. The sauce it was served in was tasty, but I was indifferent in the garlic risotto.
Excellent Italian food on the Hill. Service was great. The Alfredo was not greasy and the cream was not too heavy, which I like. I had the angel hair pasta with Italian sausage. I prefer to sit outside if it's nice out, it's quieter.
There a reason this was the only place we could get a reservation on the hill at the last minute. Not very lively, food over priced… I paid over 150 dollars for 3 people to eat & then the manager “Larry” charged me 70 more dollars without my knowledge or consent. When I called to follow up on the charge to let him know an error was made he said “he knew” what this was about. He stated someone else at the table didn’t pay their bill (not true), so he took it upon himself to charge my card, even though I had paid my bill. He said he would refund the charge, but then continued to want to engage in argument and on going conversation defending his decision to charge my card without authorization. And essentially started to threaten me that I/ we committed a crime. Well I definitely made some
After a long day at the St Louis zoo we were able to get a reservation at the last minute. We had a charming dinner of house salad, pizza with fresh tomatoes, beef medallion and the appetizer with thin beef slices and fresh mozzarella and a cannoli to top it off. The red wine and pierroni on tap were perfect and the limoncello was a nice touch to end the meal. We love trying all the places on the Hill and always have a lovely time.
Food was excellent!! The ossobuco is a must try. Very tender!! I am picky on my risotto and i absolutely love this. The manhattan I had was made very well. The salads were ice cold, kinda different with pistachios. Service was incredibly fast. Everything was flavorful.
