Lord Fletcher's Old Lake Lodge

Steven was lovely. I had the filet and it was simply perfect. He suggested the carrot cake and I never do dessert but since holidays are stressful I treated myself. It was awesome. Great relaxing dinner in a quiet setting.

Update: the second time I went, I was sat at a 6 person table in the corner for a family of 4. The restaurant was pretty dead. What a crappy experience. The formal dining room is quiet and weird. Asked to be moved to no avail. They also put jalapeños on their normal burger?!? Take away: probably not going back...it's a once a summer place...

If you have never been to Lord Fletchers on a winter's night please go soon. The atmosphere in the main dining room is charming, cozy, romantic and lovely. So much beautiful wood and the wall lanterns are placed at just the right height to give thst special warm glow that is neither too dark or bright - just right. Food menu is varied with Prime Rib on Friday and Saturday nights. They will deliver your cut of meat exactly how you want it. Don't forget to order the special stuffed hash browns for your table guests, so delicious. Plus they have children's offerings and crayons to color the paper sheets. Fancy burgers, walleye, pasta, salads and other enticing entrees. Service is exceptional and views of the lake are wonderful. Prices are in keeping with mid-high restaurants around $26-36 per

Stopped off on a Sunday and the place was busy. Service was prompt and the food was delicious. This is a great place to sit outside, enjoy some food, people watch and enjoy your beverage of choice. We had the calamari and the Salmon teriyaki bowl. Both were very tasty. If you are in the area, don't pass it up!
