Lor Kebab

It’s not enough to say one of the best, this is The Best Persian kebab in the country. As an Iranian who is familiar with the premium taste of authentic Persian kebab, I highly recommend trying the Kobideh here. The Mirza Ghasemi , Joojeh and all the other dishes are also excellent and definitely worth trying. The kitchen is extremely clean, the service is very good, and the chef and staff are friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect as well, right next to the weekly festivals and downtown. Highly recommended!

My wife and I visited for the first time for dinner last night—delicious! Best kebabs I’ve had in a long time, made fresh, and very friendly staff. Excited to return soon!

My husband, son, and I dined here tonight for the first time and everything was delicious. We especially loved the koobideh (beef & lamb) and the joojeh (chicken) kebabs. The Mast & Khiyar (yogurt, cucumber, & mint) was amazing. We enjoyed talking to the owner who was very kind and welcoming. We are excited to have an authentic Persian restaurant in Gainesville and look forward to returning and trying the Fesenjoon and Gormeh Sabzi.

We loved the Koobideh and the Fesenjoon at Lor Kebab. The kebabs were perfectly done and the fesenjoon had an awesome sweet n sour flavor. The special complementary yogurt was yummy too! Mr. Mohammedali, the owner, was very friendly and we had a nice conversation. We'll be back for more!

The food is all delicious, traditional, and clearly made with love. One of the best kebabs I’ve ever had. With that being said, I would love to see them address opportunities for improvement around the atmosphere, serving plates and utensils (only plastic), drinks, and consider some type of traditional sauces included with the dishes. Highly recommend the food!
