Long Weekend

Our office tried the Cafe for breakfast. We walked in and ordered at the counter. They just opened so they asked us to be patient. We had our to-go in 30 minutes which I find just fine! We brought the food and drinks back to the office and it are more than pleased! The specialty coffee flavors are very good and different then what is around here. The food was top notch. I personally had the campfire latte and veggie taco with the jalapeño crema and I've been dreaming about when I can get it again. We will definitively be back!

I cannot recall ever wanting to hustle to write a review this quickly...but WOW! The folks who revamped the Long Weekend location are ON POINT and know JUST what this neighborhood needed!! From the playground to fire pit to food options to coffee shop (with its precious "Creative Canyon" space!) to the outdoor stage for live music...wow, just wow! I popped in with my 3-year-old to check it out, and we ended up staying for nearly 3 hours just checking everything out! This place is a gem. Already excited to go back.

Ok Houston!!! This family friendly restaurant is INCREDIBLE!!!! It’s literally the best family friendly spot in Houston. They have a cafe for coffee & breakfast/brunch items and a full service restaurant! The design is GORGEOUS, western and they even have a playground. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is FREE! If HOU are reading this, trust me, just go!!! @thathoustonmom

Long Weekend might already be one of my favorite spots in Houston. The atmosphere is exactly what the name suggests—relaxed, upbeat, and the kind of place you could easily spend hours with friends without realizing it. The food was excellent across the board. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and clearly well thought out. You can tell there’s real attention to detail in both the menu and presentation. The drinks were also outstanding—great selection and perfectly balanced. What really stood out was the service. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made the whole experience feel easy and fun. Houston has a lot of great restaurants, but Long Weekend definitely feels like one of those places that will become a regular stop. Already looking forward to going back. Highly recommend.

Checked out Long Weekend during opening weekend and it’s exactly the kind of place Houston needs more of. It’s a bar/restaurant with a fantastic outdoor playground for kids, which means parents can actually sit down, have a drink or meal, and relax while the kids run around safely. The whole setup is really well thought out, plenty of space, great atmosphere, and a place where families are genuinely welcome. Anyone with kids knows how rare it is to find somewhere you can grab a drink or bite without constantly managing restless kids at the table. Also worth noting: it was opening weekend and the place was packed, so credit to the team for getting things up and running. These kinds of spots quickly become neighborhood staples.
