Long John Silver's

This is one of those places that doesn’t change with time. They’ve had pretty much the same menu since they opened (: Fish wise, I like the cod, you pay a little more but it’s worth it. Hush puppies are on point. Now they have waffle fries, just as good as the ones at the chicken place. Employees are always pleasant and very patient. Customers seem to take very long to decide what they want but every time I witnessed that, the employee didn’t seem bothered or frustrated. My only complaint would be the smell inside. It feels like their ventilation system needs updating because you definitely need a change of clothes and a shower after dining in. Will definitely come back.

I love LJS and the closest to me is almost 2 hrs from home, so I stop by whenever I’m in the area. I feel it’s a little pricey particularly for fast food. Had 2 piece fish with two sides and a large drink. Cost was almost $18, but the food is SO good!

Old school food chain. Fish filet were good and hot. A little salty for me, but might be good for you. Grilled Salmon and Shrimp were ok. Facility kind of dated. Bathroom not so clean. Long wait at counter before any worker showed up, then they all showed up at same time. Woman taken orders at counter very cordial and responsive.

Brings good memories, they have these all over Texas, I'm glad they have one in Virginia, if you like good seafood without a wait. This place is great hospitality and great service 🙏🏻

Fish is so greasy, Cole slaw obviously has to be thrown away. Expired taste. Hush puppies over fried, hard. Used to be one of my favorite fast food spots.
