Long John Silver's

Locals visit to this new LJS location 12/18/24 2:30 PM. Vacant inside a few cars at the drive thru. I haven't been to a LJS in 20 years and my wife has never been to one. The restaurant is new and clean inside and out. Staff are attentive but lacked any knowledge of the LJS website club and how to enter my phone number for "coins" (points) or how to redeem my sign up rewards. *Yes. They can do that! The manager figured it out but it was too late for my order. He gave me a free piece of Cheesecake Factory original cheese cake to offset it The fish and shrimp platter was $16.99. WOW! The tempura batter is used on both the fish and shrimp. Very greasy. * See video. The taste was ok but you know you shouldn't be eating it after the first bite. Slaw was horrible with a fermented aftertaste. G

This place brings back childhood memories, but better. We waited in the drive through for about 20 minutes before we could order because the dine in area is still closed. However, the food we received was hot and fresh. The wait was definitely worth it. We both ordered the #5 meal, 2 fish dinner. The fish was extremely crispy and meaty. It is a little on the greasier side so we rate it 8/10. As for sides, I thought the coleslaw was really good and I would definitely get it again. 9/10 The green beans were very plain, not much flavor. They tasted straight out the can with a little onion. We were scurrying about, cleanin' the gutters of our family ship, when the salty sea air and the rumble of our bellies led us to this treasure trove. I, yer humble narrator, plundered the fish tacos, while me matey and her young'un feasted on chicken planks, waffle fries, and hush puppies, all washed down with a swashbucklin' Pepsi. The grub was hot, fresh, and hearty, fit for a pirate's appetite. The soda was as crisp and refreshing as the ocean breeze, and the service was swifter than a cutlass. Food was pricy for lunch but good. My complaint is the pre packaged tartar sauce. I’ve never seen tartar sauce look like bad milk. So bad in fact, I won’t return. Worse excuse for tartar sauce ever! C’mon guys use the real stuff.

It is frustrated using the JLS App, you place an order and when you get to the location they don't have anybody at the lobby cashier to assist you. This location need to hire more employees or competent people. I was missing piece of fish on my order and when you try to complaint they give you a unpleasant attitude as if the customer not right
