Lonesome Dove Guest Ranch

The staff was incredible. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We arrived and it was overwhelming. We didn’t know where to go but a nice woman guided us to our cabin. My daughter loved petting the horses and seeing the bison(Natasha). The air conditioning was a nice touch to the heat, after spending all morning and noon in Glacier National Park. The room was clean, the floor wasn't squeaky clean because it’s a cabin on a ranch. However, we felt very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Horseback riding experience was awesome. Lodging was awful. Our cabin had a lumpy old mattress with a ripped old quilt on it. I'd recommend staying at one of the brand new hotels in the area and driving there for the horseback riding.

We stayed in the Lorie Darlin Cabin which was right next to Natasha the Bison. We were only able to attend breakfast two of the days for our stay but it was the best continental I’ve ever had. We, also, road the horses for a 1.5 hour tour. Amazing views!

First I would say the staff we interacted with were very friendly and polite. The breakfast provided was good. This place is not handicapped available. We had booked a tipi for the experience. I am a 74 year old woman and not able to hike up to the bathhouse. The owner would not let us drive up there to shower. Not very accommodating. I was exhausted from our flights and sick. They rented us a cabin for an additional fee. What was so unprofessional is the owner was talking about my son and myself in ear shot of us. If I wasn't feeling so bad I wouldn't have stayed at this place. So if you are looking for an unprofessional place to stay this is it. Never again will I stay there or recommend them to anyone. Fortunately this was the only bad experience on our trip.

We stayed in order to visit Glacier National park. In the nearby area we found great Casino/ restaurants the service was great, the area was beautiful and it was really nice to get to see and visit with the animals. We would definitely come back for another visit. The only way I can think to describe it is rustic glamping.
