Lonchera Rosita

Very disappointing tacos. The chicken had a bad smell and was not fresh at all. The beef was extremely dry and completely tasteless. Overall, the food looked okay at first but the quality and flavor were terrible. Definitely would not recommend.

Lonchera Rosita I love tacos, especially from taco trucks. So when we saw this one at the entrance of McCall, we knew we had to give it a try. Lonchera Rosita is easily one of the best taco trucks I’ve been to. The food is delicious, the stop is definitely worth it, and it’s now a must on every McCall trip. My only complaint? They’re closed on Sundays! Sundays are perfect taco days. Honestly, they should close on Mondays instead. 😅

Spent some time in McCall and visited LR several times a week. Small menu but enough to satisfy everyone. Burritos and tacos mostly but spot on flavor wise.

Wow! Of course, any time I order tacos I want them to be good, but it's always hard when I'm out of town and they're this delicious. Basic carne options, Asada, Al Pastor, Pollo, Champechanos (chorizo & asada mix) and Carnitas. These tacos were perfect. Tortilla were hot and fresh. Asada was good, Al Pastor (Adobada) was good size pieces with a great marinade, but no pineapple. The Carnitas was crispy on the tips, juicy in the meat. And the combo was fine (I would ask for just Chorizo next time. These are among my top tacos. I really like where this place is, just as you're entering town, with a great view of the mountains.

If you're passing thru McCall and need a good place to eat, this is your place! It's hard to find a good taco stand in the US, especially in Idaho. But this place is delicious, friendly and quick. My new favorite onscreen to eat on this trip!
