Lombardo's White Plains

I visited this establishment with my wife for lunch recently. It was her idea to go there. We had been to the restaurant a few months beforehand and had a mediocre experience, so I reluctantly agreed to return. During our meal, the waitress first took my wife’s plate before my wife was done eating. The waitress then took my plate away before I was done eating. She didn’t ask either of us if we were done eating. The very first time I visited was with the whole family over two years ago. At that time, it was an excellent experience.

Used to be good. Something must have changed recently. Sicilian pies come much thinner than they used to. Perhaps it’s an inflation thing? Toppings are stingy. Ordering double toppings gets you close to what a regular topping amount used to be. And this is the second pie in a row that came completely burnt.

The food is good but i don't think its at the right price point. I feel it's a little too expensive for what it is. The pizza is a little pricey but it is a better spot on the area. The dining room is open and the feel isn't that great to it. They have 2 dining areas one served abs one not. The service was great no complaints there. My wife said her skirt steak was amazing.

We went for dinner and we ordered, eggplant rollitini, fradiavlo shrimp pasta, and salmon with risotto. We enjoyed everything except for the clam appetizer. They were overpriced, I believe 17.00 for 6 of them and they tasted terrible. We should've spoken up and mentioned it. The bread is warm and phenomenal. Otherwise aside from the bad tasting clams, everything else was great.

We had a wedding reception here and our server(Kimberly) was horrible she could not get our orders right she couldn’t even make our drinks properly. We paid for 3 hours of service open bar and we barely were allowed to enjoy 2 hours because the servers and managers wanted to go home at 8:30pm but it clearly states the restaurant closes at 10:00pm. They cut us off at 9:00pm claiming there were no bartenders. We weren’t even able to get a cup of coffee at the end of the night no desert was offered to our guests all in all it was a terrible experience which I do regret.
