LoLo Hawaiian BBQ - West Valley City

Had a wonderful time at LoLo Hawaiian. I would say that of all the Hawaiian style restaurants in the valley, this one is my favorite. The service was a little slower than some places, but the quality of the food made it worth it! The spam musubi was excellent. My wife had teriyaki chicken. I had pork and shrimp. The thing I loved about the pork was that the meat quality was excellent. The texture was much better than other places. Loved the flavors. The only complaint was that I wish there was more dressing on the mac salad. But it was still great. Can't wait to go back!

Had the katsu and the kalbi. I thought maybe the reviews on the Calvin was wrong. I paid 1.50 extra for beyond grisly "meat" there were 2 bites that were actually decent. Don't get it. The katsu was decent. In the picture that looks like meat it isn't mostly gristle. Oh people complain about the mac salad it is a whole lot better than mo bettas.

Great food. We ordered, picked out table and got a drink from the fountain and our food was ready. AND WARM! the atmosphere is wonderful. Service was great! Thank you!

2nd time here. 1st time i got the chicken kutsu which was freshly made to order, 2nd time was a loco moco. and it felt like i was back home in Hawaii with every bite. had the same cook on both occasions, asian dude with glasses. 5 stars for him.

I placed an online order and set the pick up time for 1230p, since that's when my lunch is. I placed the order at 12p and received a text message at 1210p saying that it's ready to pick up. I wasn't able to get there till 1245p, so my food, according to the info I was given, sat for 35 minutes. Sure enough, I get back to work to eat it, and everything is cold. Not even luke warm. The food was decent but pretty average. The atmosphere is beyond unwelcoming. I first went to the location in Ogden, years ago and told myself I'd never go back. I figured I'd give this location a chance but it was just as bad as Ogden. There is no ALOHA in this place! No Hawaiian music being played or anything. LOLO in Hawaiian means, crazy, and I'd be Lolo to come back.
