Lola's Burger & Tequila Bar

There’s an appeal to the maximalist nature of Canton Street, especially at this time of year when the stores are decked out in lights and holiday cheer. We went to Lola’s because of their diverse menu and welcoming exterior, and we were even more wowed by the sheer size of the place inside. It’s easy to tell this is a popular sports bar with the large TVs playing games all over the huge venue. While the location and menu are expansive, the food was rather unseasoned, and the service was a huge drawback to the entire experience. Most of our group’s orders were incorrectly delivered to us, so we asked to have the items we were promised but not given removed from our final check. The atmosphere and ambiance is perfect, especially the Christmas pop up. The service was awful. The servers were just throwing things on our table, not smiling. Even while we waited at the bar, we were never greeted or even acknowledged for 20 min. This place is in an amazing location and very friendly staff. Cozy atmosphere. Wings were good. But the wagyu burger was not the way we ordered. It was bloody inside, quiet gross to eat despite we requested well done in our togo order. Can happen but disappointing and waste of money.

Amazing service. Mackenzie was amazing! She’s so patient with such a busy bar. The Christmas decorations are impeccable!! I haven’t been too impressed in a Christmas bar environment in decades.

Kimberly was my server and she was amazing she was quick attentive and all around great company. I love how she asked my name and made it a more personal experience. The atmosphere was good as well and the food was perfect to every bite well seasoned perfectly cooked and presentation was definitely picture perfect. I had the deviled eggs and pimento burger. I can’t wait to come back and try Doc’s hangover. Definitely worth the visit and will be back.
