Locanda Brasato

La Fresca is already one of our favorite places so it was a no-brainer when Marco told us that he was opening another place that we had to try it out. We went for lunch on Valentine’s Day and the food was incredible. My wife got their lunch sandwich that is made from their pizza dough, served with chips, and she said it was delicious. I got the vodka pasta and it was so good and had a great flavor. We will absolutely be back for dinner, soon!

Absolutely excellent experience at Locanda Brasato. Chef Duaine Clements never ceases to amaze me—along with his awesome team. Great wine, incredible burrata, delicious handmade pasta, and fantastic dessert. Perfect for a date night or for a midweek lunch pick me up!

Already a huge fan of Le Fresca, so we were excited to hear that Chef Duaine was opening a new restaurant in Mountain Brook. We were able to go for the first time on Valentine’s and it did not disappoint! The pizza was similar enough to Le Fresca that fans will be excited to order, but different enough that it still feels like a fresh experience. We also ordered the Duck Cannelloni and it was wonderful. The atmosphere was perfect for a nice date. There’s just a lot of warm, positive energy that makes the experience that much more enjoyable.

This new local gem completely exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We even ordered a pizza to go!! The staff were so warm, and genuinely so welcoming and attentive. My sister has a shellfish allergy, and they went above and beyond to make sure she felt safe and comfortable when she ordered! Amazing food, great drinks, outstanding service, and such a vibe. We’ll absolutely be back!!

We came for Valentine's Day and managed to get a seat at the bar. The bartenders were both very friendly but we really enjoyed sitting near where the drinks were being made and chatting with Lauren. She made excellent recommendations of wine for us and I think now I have a new favorite wine. Her personality was so warm and inviting we would come back just to see her!! The food was incredible! We got the ricotta appetizer and the only thing I would say negatively about it is that we needed a couple more pieces of that grilled bread to eat it all. My husband got the pizza with prosciutto on it, I can't remember the name but it was delicious and they have a spicy oil you can put on it that I wanted a bottle to take home. I got the short rib ravioli and could have eaten my weight in those. We
