Locals Raw Bar

Had a great experience at Local’s Raw Bar! The oysters on the half shell were super fresh, and the roasted oysters were delicious. We also loved the bone marrow and the hamachi and crab roll—everything was full of flavor. Our server, Salix, was wonderful and made the meal even better. Highly recommend Local’s Raw Bar for great seafood and great service!

Terrific addition to Beaufort's tired old restaurant scene with the added bonus of being on Lady's Island. The buttery lobster roll (minus the Bay seasoning!) was off-the-charts delicious as was the hamachi and crab sushi. The black garlic octopus didn't quite work presentation-wise but hats off to the chef for trying. Living in London and visiting my parents often, I'm looking forward to seeing what other creative dishes will pop up on the menu. Would love to see some different ceviches and an extraordinary fish taco since there is such an emphasis on fresh fish.

Amazing! Had a gift certificate so had to try several things. Got some fried pickles. They are the most amazing I’ve had. So good I’m going again tonight for some more and maybe some other food as well. Got another appetizer roll and it was real good. Like a hot-wing inside… real good. Got the lobster roll and it was good the fries were good as well. Got a bowel with shrimp that was amazing. Think it was the fusion bowl. Had leftovers and they were good as well. As far as a drink, I tried the bread and butter; strait up alcohol. It was spicy and good. A strong drink for sure.

The small sign that caught my eye should be replaced with a massive red flashing arrow to grab more attention. This place is a true hidden gem. Everything that came out was perfectly prepared, plated, presented, and taste phenomenal. I had a dozen raw oysters, which where shocked to order and very fresh. My main dish was Mutton Snapper which I could have eaten 2!!!! And dessert was homemade banana pudding which was a perfect ending to an absolutely delicious meal. Can't wait to return with my family next time.
