My sister-in-law suggested we celebrate her daughter’s 3rd birthday here with a simple dinner. I arrived first and thought we had a reservation, but I later found out we didn’t—and we were a large group. Since the place is small, I honestly thought they wouldn’t be able to accommodate us, but they did. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and we were able to enjoy a simple yet special dinner. We even brought a cake so our little one could blow out her candles, and they didn’t mind at all. The food was amazing—I didn’t even get a chance to take photos because everything was eaten so quickly! Overall, our experience was very memorable. We would definitely come back.

Fantastic experience, mid week. Cozy space, great service and phenomenal food compositions. Pizza is on extremely high level, fun toppings. Delicious cocktails. Will be back 100%

Restaurant Review: Locali Restaurant, New Canaan I recently had the pleasure of dining at Locali Restaurant in New Canaan, and it was a truly delightful experience. The menu offers a fantastic selection of dishes, and everything I tried exceeded expectations. One standout appetizer was the Hot Honey Whipped Ricotta—a perfect balance of creamy, sweet, and spicy flavors that was both innovative and delicious. The Goat Pizza was also fantastic, featuring fresh ingredients and a perfectly baked crust. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the Famous Locali Clam Pizza—by far the best pizza I've had in a very very long time. Took a drive up here last Sunday to visit the town and stopped by this restaurant for lunch and we were served so quickly, the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about all the food options even gave us recommendations for this chicken pizza and their mocktails are insane. This is a must go to anyone visiting New Canaan CT, their portions and pizza are to die for!!!!

While the others at my table enjoyed their pizzas, my Margherita pizza was burnt on the bottom. To be honest, I would have preferred to send it back and get a new one, but I didn’t want to spoil the atmosphere of our gathering. It was disappointing, as I expected better quality. Hopefully, this was just a one-time mistake.
