Customer Reviews
My wife and I were looking for a new place to eat in Lincolnton and we decided to give Local Roots & Provisions a try. This was the best decision! The food was top tier and the service was fabulous! We went with the Harvest Bowl, Chicken Bacon Wrap and Caesar Salad with Salmon. Everything tasted great and we have continued to visit anytime we are looking for a great meal with great service!
First time here and it was sooo good. Our server was very kind and helped us choose some of our options. The baked pimento cheese was my favorite thing for sure along with my martini. The host was a lil rude but maybe she just had a bad day. You can definitely tell the freshness of everything we had.
While looking for a new restaurant to try for date night we came across this location. It was not to far from the house and they allow reservations to make having dinner on a Friday night easy. The staff from the host, server, food runners, and general manager were beyond pleasant and attentive. The appetizers we tried were the taco trio minus the pork, deviled eggs and the shrimp. The tacos and shrimp were delicious but the eggs lacked flavor. For entrees we had the ribeye with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese and the short rib dinner. The short rib was super tender but the flavors of that and the potatoes were lacking, the carrots however were amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly and very flavorful, again the potatoes were super bland but the mac was good. They had run out of banana
We happened to be in the area and decided on a whim to stop for dinner. What a surprise! It was unbelievable- from the service at the bar, to the food, everything was great! The menu was so eclectic that we had a hard time deciding so we ordered an appetizer or fried green tomatoes which were UNBELIEVABLE! Then we split an order of Shrimp and Grits (yummy), sides of street corn, hopping John's and fried Brussel sprouts all of which were great. We finished dinner off with a Somoa cheesecake slice and it was unbelievably delicious. Even though the restaurant is almost 40 minutes from our home, we will definitely be back! Highly recommend.
This place was the best place we've eaten at in Lincolnton. Freshly made fried okra from scratch. Everything is well seasoned and prepared. I would highly recommend their steaks. You get alot of food what the price. We left feeling disgustingly full and completely satisfied with the food we had ordered.
