Poppy Hill Farm is an absolute delight, especially for families. Susan is such a kind host and makes the most delicious artisan sourdough and pastries — truly bakery-quality right from her farm. But what makes it magical is the experience: kids (and adults!) can meet her animals, including the sweetest Scottish Highland cows that act more like giant pets than farm animals. There are also goats, turkeys, and chickens, all super friendly and fun to interact with. It feels like a mini petting zoo, set against beautiful Vermont countryside. Between the warm welcome, the animals, and the fresh-baked treats, it’s the perfect Saturday or Sunday outing. Highly recommend bringing the whole family!
