Walking in here made me feel immediately at home. Super fun staff, great drinks, and awesome food. Be sure to ask what the chefs special dessert is, tonight's was Churro Cheesecake. The event bar in the basement and the smoker friendly patio really stood out to me and I will definitely be back next time I'm in town.
Had the new pork belly which tasted good but needed a hard sear and the glaze almost non existent. Fried pickles app did not disappoint nor did the wife's reuben.
Decent Irish pub food. Got the fish and chips (kid's size, I don't think I would have finished the regular size) and it was not bad. Service was nice and quick as well. The inside was pretty cool and looked like a bank vault. They also have live music on certain days so I'm assuming it gets pretty busy there!
I'm part of a group that plays Magic the Gathering here on Monday Evenings. The specials are great, and everyone that works there has been very accommodating. Every food item I've had has been excellent, and the prices are very comparable to other similar places in the area. I'd definitely recommend giving them a shot if you're in the area.
This Welsh pub definitely has that old charm. It's interesting how it all used to be a bank back in the day! We sat down on a slow Monday Afternoon and I don't know why this place really deserves bad reviews. Perhaps dinner rush and more than 4 people per table can make people get anxious and turn their heads, but what I got, service and all, was phenomenal. Pub chips didn't crack my teeth and were crisp with a soft, satisfying crunch. It was served with a lovely pepper cheese that was melty and addicting. Fish and Chips were flaky, moist, and the tartar sauce can be a bit on the mustardy side, but, it was well worth it. The thick cut fries, too, were crisp and seasoned to perfection, not burnt at all. The Shepherd's Pie, however, was the star of the show. Savory Mushroom sherry gravy
