L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

Food was disappointing. My husband, myself and 3 kids went there for lunch, & the food and area was no good. My husband ordered a short rib regular plate, and as soon he opened it, it was very small, wasn’t worth the amount he paid for, I ordered a half n half combo and it looked ok, but is it worth the amount I paid for? I don’t think so. My kids ordered musubi and a kids cheeseburger, and they liked it. This l&L was no good for us. We enjoy other ones, but this location was very disappointing. The area is very unclean at the restaurant, our plates that my husband and I got was not good and food tasted old or warmed up for us. I asked for lemons there and it look like it was very old!so the cooks and workers, If your going to be a Hawaiian to go place, make sure the plates are worth the a

2nd time here. I ordered BBQ chicken it wasn't good at all. Today ordered two musubi's. Nori was wet and falling off the rice. Rice was mushy. L&L is a very popular local spot in Hawaii this place does not represent Hawaii at all.

18.99 for a plate of meat. All flavored the same. Soy soy soy. No drink included and also not equal portions of meat. Chicken steak and short ribs sound be split in 3rds. Not an over abundant amount of chicken, 4 bites of short ribs and a steak that was way to much soy. Mac was very basic and had no flavor. Would not recommend unless you love soy sauce. Meat sauce they gave was Lowery signature steak sauce. When you cook meat no sauce should be needed unless it all tastes the same soy soy soy. Very disappointing. Won't return.

BBQ mix was a mix of massive disappointment. Ribs and beef was chewy, and chicken burned and over cooked. Burger was also dry and over cooked. Wish I could give a positive review, however I have standards. This place is for a dull palate.
