L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

Not happy with my experience at this L&L First I ordered my meals to go and also got fountain drinks with it. On my way out I went to get a Sprite and there were black particles falling into my sprite and I mentioned it to the cashier and they offered me a new cup. I checked the Sprite again from the machine and there were bigger black specks that looked like mold falling into my sprite, I then showed the cashier what I was talking about about. I asked for a refund for my drink because she only offered me another cup. I asked how much a canned soda was and she said it was $3.50 that's astronomical. There should be no particles falling into my drink at all and a small canned soda should not cost that much, I could have at least just been offered a canned soda as a replacement instead of an

Food/Taste/Flavor: 2/5 - Chicken katsu mini lunch special had half of the chicken pieces way too dry. The sauce is needed but still doesn't help the texture enough. The Diet Coke/Pepsi we got was a bit odd in taste Loco loco regular with sunny side up eggs. The eggs weren't cooked well with one egg almost completely raw and the other too cooked where it was mostly solid. The burger patty was dry and chewy and not enough gravy Ambience: N/A - ordered food to go. Store feels clean and brightly lit Service: 4/5 - came during lunch rush and the female manager/cashier did amazing by herself but she was definitely pulled in multiple directions Value for price: 5/5 - lots of food for the price

Last time I ordered from this place about a month ago. Picked up my order got home and was excited to get my grub on. I actually got a Luke warm/cold plate that probably someone else ordered and canceled so they decided to give me the plate to save time for them. It only takes one mishap for me and I will never return.

Found this place when i stopped by the area. Happy its so close to my house. Ive always loved L&L and they never skimp on the amount of food they give you. My favorite is the chicken katsu curry, absolutely delicious. If you are in the west reno area, stop by.

Love this place! Food is authentic and delicious. Have been here a couple of times and it is definitely one of the best food spots in Reno. The Kalua Pork is fantastic. The Chicken Katsu is on point, the teriyaki chicken is fantastic, and I love the mac salad. Rice is cooked well also. I would highly recommend stopping in. The atmosphere is clean and laid back and the staff are super nice and welcoming.
