Liz Sue Bagels

This little place has the best bagels in Stamford (and in my opinion, the surrounding area as well). I have been eating here since moving to Stamford in 2019, and I pick up a dozen and a half every week for my office where they get happily eaten. They have the perfect chewy crust and soft inside, the cream cheese flavors are classic and delicious, and they have an interesting array of bagel sandos to choose from. Favorite Bagel: Egg Everything Favorite Cream Cheese: Jalapeño Cheddar

Sometimes my breakfast sandwich is amazing. Other times like today, I wish I didn’t order it! I always ask for extra bacon and pay for extra bacon, but today there was what felt like less than the regular amount. This seems to happen more frequently than I would like. The sandwiches here are great, but the inconsistency leaves you slightly frustrated at times. This has happened multiple more times and it is the same person who is unable to understand what EXTRA BACON means! This NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED! Next time I may just say “no I’ll wait for someone else”

Would get a bagel here but not a breakfast sandwich. First time I’ve had a breakfast place microwave a $9 sandwich right in front of me and it definitely tastes like it’s microwaved

So good! Got the Perro Grande which is avocado, eggs, chorizo sausage, jalapeño and pepper jack cheese. The staff ensure that the bagel was made to my liking and the filling was so satisfying I was full the whole day. The bagel was also fresh and good quality. Love this local spot!

Watched them microwave my eggs and bacon and then put it on my bagel, egg tasted weird and old, actual bagel is solid and veggie cream cheese.
