Customer Reviews
I had the Pan-Seared Tuna and Seafood Pasta at LiveOaks, and both were absolutely delicious 😋 The pan-seared tuna was tender and cooked to perfection, with a beautiful sear on the outside while remaining soft inside. Though there were a few slightly chewy parts, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The flavors, textures, and seasoning were all spot on. The seafood pasta was perfectly balanced—not too heavy or creamy, but with just the right amount of spice to cut through any richness, making the flavors truly exceptional. The atmosphere was great, and the service was friendly, making for a wonderful dining experience. I would definitely come back again!
We visited after an Auburn football game. It has a nice atmosphere (we sat outside on the large patio). While it was not overly busy, the food took over an hour to arrive and was average. Overall the food was fine but the slow kitchen and service was a turnoff.
If you’re looking for great food and environment, visit Live Oaks in Auburn, Alabama. The indoor seating is beautiful but the outdoor ambiance is what you want. Enjoy a cool Alabama breeze as your tastebuds surrender to onslaught of flavor from the region’s favorite foods. I’ve had the Shrimp-n-grits, fried chicken, and pork chops but the bread pudding is my favorite. Make sure you try a sweet treat when you stop by. I didn’t realize this was a strictly outside location, but it was such a nice day I didn’t mind! There wasn’t a wait at all, so I loved that on a Friday night, got seated, but I hated how long it took for my waiter to acknowledge our table. But once he got to our table I understood why. His name was Eric and he was new and he was so kind! We had a few mishaps, but he handled them great! The food took a long time, but it was because they were short staffed. I got crab cakes and spinach and artichoke dip for an appetizer. They were a bit thin, but so good and way more sauce than other people give. And the dip was yummy too! To drink I got a tipsy tiger with tequila and they filled her UP! 10/10 recommend that drink. Honestly, the entree was the worst of the evening. The wait + the taste was
We started off with the mac n cheese bites which were absolutely amazing and some great alcoholic beverages. My new favorite....Not Your Toomers Lemonade. AWESOME!!! Then we moved to "The Burger" and fries! Look how delicious. The second entree was the salmon which was also very tasty. Great friendly staff and service. Very helpful.
