Little Shamrock Motel 2.0

We had a wonderful time during our one night stay! Everyone was friendly! The indoor pool was amazing the kids had such a fun time with waterslides. Had drink vending machine outside near check in. Will definitely be back!

Do not stay here. The pictures online must be from 20 years ago. The "indoor waterpark" looked abandoned for decades. Such a disappointment. The owner is so aggressive and rude. She laughed in our faces and said she cleans the rooms herself. Very dirty and very smelly. I'm giving the location 2 stars because we found a beautiful place to stay about 2 blocks down. The Yellow Diamond Inn is the place to stay!! Hospitality, perfectly clean rooms, a REAL playground, a pool that was open and across the road from the new arcade. HUGE DIFFERENCE TWO BLOCKS MAKE!! AVOID SHAMROCK MOTEL AT ALL COSTS!

Booked a weekend for my daughter’s birthday at the nearby diamond fields. Called to cancel after family issues came up. No problem paying the cancellation fee, but the lady I talked to was rude and tried to talk to me like a child. We go down there once a year and we’re past customers that will not be going there ever again.

Stayed in one of the single units #9 the first night. Paid for 2 nights. The air conditioner (window unit) froze up at 4:00 A.M. started making a horrible clicking sound followed by a high pitch noise. Went to office to see if we could change rooms because it froze up. The lady in the office was rude, telling us she didn’t u derstand why we even had the air conditioner on. It was 85 at night. We are from Texas, we have a fan blowing when it is winter. She did give us another room but came in the room to check the air conditioner and said that we didn’t need another room because it wasn’t frozen now. We said that we still wanted to move because we didn’t want to be woken up by it being frozen again. She rolled her eyes and huffed as she walked off. Was told not to put the AC below 7

Called to try and book a room for me, my wife and 3 young children and they wouldn’t let all five of us stay in a room with a king sized bed AND a queen. Wanted us to book another room with a single queen and when I told her I don’t mind paying an extra fee we just don’t need a second room, (my kids are 11, 9, and 6 we often all five sleep in our king at home) she just rudely said “well you can call me if you want to book the two rooms” and then hung up. Like I asked the one time not like we were on the phone for 30 mins arguing? ***Edit to response by owner*** You didn’t offer me a room with 3 beds, you offered me 2 rooms, when I said we don’t need 2 rooms and I would be happy with paying extra, you cut me off and said that’s our policy and you can call me if you want to book the two roo
