Little Rocket

I’ve been passing by this spot for the last 6 months and it’s always busy so may have sat my hopes too high. Ordered bacon cheeseburger, fries, and orangeade. The fries could have been decent if they had used any salt at all, took one bite of burger and realized it wasn’t hand pattied as you’d expect from a place like this then swiped the bacon and tossed the rest. The orangeade was good, and people were helpful. I’d probably give it another shot, skipping the burger and fries next time.

Customer service is super! I will say they have quite a variety of items to choose from. I love the fact you can order lunch items as early as 5am! Oftentimes I enjoy non traditional breakfast food early in the morning. It is a bit difficult to understand the ordering procedure. You have to ask other patrons if they've ordered yet. You'll know your order is complete when you hear them say your entire order. Ok, we loved the breakfast biscuits! They're sooo delicious! When I saw people ordering burgers at breakfast time, I purchased one also. Not good at all. It's a pre-made patty with a very unforgiving texture. The chili is good on the burger. Great roadside takeout restaurant! Perfect setting located on the edge of Farmville. Owner was super friendly and chatted with me a bit while I waited on my burger. Lots of options to select from on their menu. I went with their "Rocket Burger" with their special sauce. Give them a try when visiting Farmville!

Had a chicken salad sandwich, which I had read was good. I found it to be a bit sweet and lacking in texture. I love grapes and celery and nuts in mine. All I could see was some pickle pieces. My husband enjoyed his fried bologna sandwich, although he was expecting the slab of bologna to be a bit more substantial. He did like the taste. Next time I'll try a burger!
