Little Moir's Food Shack

We went to Little Moir’s Food Shack for an early dinner. What can I say? It was the best dinner on this trip! Hawaiian calamari? Amazing! Fresh fish in buffalo crust? Gorgeous! I wanna come back and try more items on the menu! Especially when they change it daily!

This place is non-negotiable. The food is always good, genuinely consistent every single visit. My go-to is the sweet potato encrusted fish. You get to choose the fish, and it varies depending on what’s fresh and available that day, which makes it even better. It’s perfectly cooked every time, with that sweet, crispy crust. I order it again and again and it never disappoints. Whenever we’re in town, we make it a point to come here sometimes more than once in the same day, that’s how good it is. If you’re in the area, this place is an absolute MUST.

Everyone recommends this place and the reviews are great, but I really don't see the big deal. It's so pricey for what you get. I wasn't impressed with the food at all. Everything was very bland. We had the sweet potato crusted grouper and the cobia in a lemon caper sauce with veggies. Service was ok. The 90s music band that came on towards the end of our meal was great.

Love this local spot! Food is AMAZING! I had the sweet potato crusted avocado and my boyfriend had their short rib and brisket burger. Good size portions and great prices. Surprising amount of seating they have two rooms with lots of tables. Great service too!

What a crazy, amazing spot! Service, food, drinks, vibe - all spot on! The food combos look so eclectic, but somehow all work so well together! Our group has a lot of food allergies, and they were more than accommodating (always a bonus when we don’t die). We will be back next time we’re in south Florida.
