Little Falls Public Library

Great Santa event but really disappointed in how the gingerbread house event played out. I was one of the first folks here and had immediately asked if I could be placed on a wait list if someone didn’t show up. I kept checking in to see if anyone didn’t check in. Unfortunately, what I experienced was someone who came in last min was given two houses just because they know the person in charge (I absolutely overheard them saying that Mrs. Linda will give them houses for people who don’t show up). As a new resident to little falls, this is a disheartening experience. I hope the library creates a more fair process for everyone in town not just favoring the people they know

Small library but cute and functional. The soft chairs upstairs for people who sit and work like me for hours is a nice addition. Along with the mini desk. The library being on the smaller side you hear everything and everybody. It’s not much space for quiet enjoyment.

Library is extremely loud. Packed with kids yelling and playing all around. Maybe if they had a designated quiet area, then the issue would be solved. Also WiFi is very slow…

Wonderful staff and resources! We have brought our daughter here since she was 5 months old. They have terrific story times that are engaging and geared toward our child's age group. Ms. Linda is very patient and loving towards the kids and even the parents! We also check out a lot of library materials from here on a regular basis. It is very easy to request books or movies from other libraries and have them sent here where it is easier to pick up rather than driving out of our way to get them. The staff here in the evening is a lot more strict and not as friendly as they could be. I make it a point to come here during the day as the librarian at the front desk is very kind and helpful. Great staff - always helpful. Upstairs area, quiet if you need silence. When the after school kids get noisy, the staff firmly tells them to quiet down. Overall, it’s a very nice library and it’s apparent the neighborhood seniors value its services. The Montclair local library, as well as the Montclair State library offe areas of total silence, paid parking and signs everywhere not to never leave your laptop unoccupied,
