Little Boat is such a welcome addition to the community of Leland, from the fantastic owners of Hive in Suttons Bay! It has been years - I’m not kidding actual years - since I’ve walked into this space and had a barista actually look up, smile, greet me, and seem genuinely proud of the work they were doing. I would come in occasionally to see if anything had changed through multiple owners and turnovers, to no luck. It was so pleasant walking in and meeting the manager DJ today. He was sweet, kind, and represented this warm and charming local business so well. Not only are the hours great (open until 3 PM for after-school pickups), but the flavors of the drinks are superb and so well made, each one.
