Customer Reviews
Me and my husband was excited to visit last to celebrate our 14th anniversary. We sat outside on the patio. We were seated at a couch that had a fire pit. Had it been warmer outside that would have been nice. Our waitress greeted us quickly and we were able to order quickly. I ordered the filet- $65 and when offered to add scallops I did- 2 for $18 totaling $83 My husband ordered the stuff quail $45 He also ordered a dozen oysters $36 And we had 2 sweet teas $8 Oysters came out first and were cold the flavor just was not there. We were most excited for the oysters so this was disappointing. My filet came out cooked almost to perfection but was poorly seasoned and had basically no flavor. The scallops weren't bad but $18 for 2 is crazy. My husband's stuffed quail however was very go
Pretty impressed. Since of the dishes come across as basic or less inspired on paper, but are very well executed. On the whole all items were good, except the gumbo, which was under seasoned. The stand outs... Smoked fish dip, tacos, oysters Rockefeller.
Highly recommend! Fresh seafood and incredible vibe/atmosphere. Gumbo was one of the best we’ve ever had (a bit spicy but fantastic to us), snapper special was the best we’ve ever had as well. Seafood tower and cornbread are a must. Madeline was our server and her suggestions helped so much. Will definitely come back if I’m back in Fairhope.
As a vegetarian, I sometimes worry about finding great options when dining out, but this restaurant made it incredibly easy. The chef went above and beyond by preparing vegetarian plate for me, and it was absolutely amazing. And the cornbread… wow. It had the best buttery crust — perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside. I honestly could’ve ordered another for dessert! The atmosphere was fun, and the service was just as great. Seriously the best experience!
Cool vibes and really good service Little Bird in Fairhope knocked it out of the park. The staff was super attentive without hovering, and the cocktail program is seriously good. We went heavy on the ordering and didn't regret a thing. You have to try the caramelized onion dip with caviar and the salt-baked oysters. The tuna crudo was gorgeous, too. For the main event, the swordfish with those confit sweet potatoes and the stuffed quail were excellent. Even the sides like the cornbread were on point. Capped it off with the crème Brulé. Definitely coming back.
