Lionz Den Restaurant and Bar

As a Lindenhurst native for over 30 years I was excited to see a new restaurant opening up less than a mile from my house. As we entered i felt the Manhattan Class and vibe with Carribean Inspired atmosphere that Nicole and her family had achieved. The staff were friendly and inviting. We sat at the bar and had the incredible Crab Rangoon Wonton appetizer. The cocktails were amazing and my Salmon entree was large and cooked perfectly. Prices were a bit on the high side for the area but the feel and atmosphere made up for it. I look forward to returning when the DJ is playing and any future promotional events.

This place is the old Allie's place. They did a wonderful renovation job you won't recognize the place. The floors are level and flat. New bar and tables. They also renovated the outsider. Great place to take your wife or girlfriend out. I didn't try the food, but from what I saw, it looked great. The prices are a little high for the neighborhood, but still a nice place to take your wonderful special person or family. The barmaid and owner we're very friendly. Great place.

I had the pleasure of dining at The Lionz Den in Lindenhurst, and it is truly a gem bringing the heart, soul, and history of West Indian—specifically Guyanese—culture to Long Island. I ordered the curry goat special with dhal puri, and the moment I took my first bite, I was transported straight back to my childhood. The flavor, the tenderness, the spices—everything tasted exactly like the meals my family made growing up. The portion size was perfect, and the authenticity is unmatched. The environment is just as incredible as the food. The furnishings and lighting are so thoughtfully curated, creating a warm, inviting vibe that makes you want to stay for hours. I ordered food there for the first time. I got the lamb chop entree which was $57 and honestly I was expecting more for the price I paid…. And the jerk chicken skewers which only came with 2 and was 15. Everything seems overpriced but I figured I’d try it cause it seemed good. For the amount of food, the quality and price, I wasn’t really satisfied. And my food was cold when I ate it immediately. Ended up paying $75 for food I didn’t enjoy at all. The people are nice but the food isn’t as high end as I thought it would be

The food concept is good, falls just short though. The drinks could have been better. The prices are high and you expect knock your socks off taste and presentation Id definitely come back, as the place is a vibe.
