Lin's Grand Buffet

Very good buffet food. Most was very fresh and cooked right. Value was excellent. Fresh fruit was sweet. Good variety of sushi (was also very fresh). Noodles were great. Lots of different entrees that were not breaded (I don’t care if breaded and fried). If you want breaded, they had several breaded entrees too. Had hibachi grill too! They have military discount as well! Our bill was $30 for 2 for lunch. We gave a cash tip to our server. Server was great, spoke English and was very helpful explaining everything and telling us about the different items added for dinners.

We tried this new place on hwy 6 north, and I can tell you its worth to visit. No buffet is perfect, expect greasy food and a mix of good and bad dishes. Upon arriving it took us like 15 minutes to get a table. They are fast to clean after people leave, making the rotation of tables quite fast. Some of the best items to try are the steaks, grill to order along with your plate of noodles, veggies and/or meats picked from the line. Some others are okay like crawfish boil, ribs, wings. They have a wide variety of Chinese dishes and sushi(I did not try) salad bar and fruits. For kids pizza, chicken nuggets. Forgot to mention soups. After seeing several restaurants come and go at this location, I wasn’t sure what to expect — but this newly opened buffet has completely changed the game. This was my second visit, and it’s clear they’ve already figured out how to run a busy, successful operation. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and seated quickly at a comfortable booth with plenty of space. The atmosphere is surprisingly pleasant for such a bustling spot, and the cleanliness and organization stood out immediately. Everything felt well‑kept, orderly, and cared for, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The staff’s attentiveness throughout our meal was genuinely appreciated. I was here early on a Friday for lunch. The food was terrific. The bbq chicken, the different types of shrimp, really well seasoned. The hibachi and sushi selection were great as well. The salmon and tuna sashimi in particular were so fresh. The waiters super friendly and didnt hover over you like at some other buffets, but every time I ran out of water, they got me a refill right away. I didnt use the bathroom but im sure it’s clean since this place opened just a week ago or so. One thing I wish they had was shrimp at the hibachi station, but other than that, everything was great!! Went the day after grand opening. Place was very clean, and i hope they keep it that way. Service was great, they came by to refill our drinks promptly. I like that you pay up front so there is no waiting for your check. The food variety was good, selection is very similar to other Chinese houston buffets. The make your own stir fry was great, just wish they had a rice option as well. The dessert options were plentiful, but the fruit selections seemed a bit unripe at the time. Overall it felt clean, not as greasy as other buffets.
