Lindy's Deli

Absolutely rip-off. no prices on their menu at the deli - how do you charge over $8 for a bacon, egg and cheese on a butter roll? Do not go here unless you want to pay whatever they want to charge you- I should have ask for a price before ordering!!

Stopped in recently while doing an errand. Ordered an egg and cheese sandwich with sausage on a toasted bagel. Probably the best egg sandwiches I've had in quite some time. Something about the toast especially that does it for me. Well done and recommended to anyone in the area.

I grew up in Lindenhurst many years ago....I attended the High School just across the street from the Lindy Deli....every morning i would stop and get a salted bagel with butter...religiously...and for lunch a cold cut meat sandwich....the place was always busy between periods and during tbe lunch time.....but was well worth it...the owners were always kind and courteous and tried their best to get your order for breakfast cooked and out as fast as possible....they had some patience....i miss those bagels though....long live the Lindy Deli...pictures below are 2 different time periods

I post a lot of reviews about places I like and don’t like. I will just say this place is perfect. The owner is very friendly and personable. The people who work there are amazing cooks. Real authentic Mexican food…as well as your regular deli foods!

Excellent balance of flavors. The freshness and quality of their prepared foods are above and beyond. The corn tamal is amazing. The creme sauce that comes with the tamal is perfect with a bare hint of sweetness. Meatballs in tomato sauce outdid any I’ve tried in a while. The meatballs were great, while you can actually drink the sauce…it’s that good. The sauce tasted like ripe tomatoes with a beautiful flavor. The shrimp (appear to be sautéed in a garlic sauce with sweet peppers) is perfectly flavored & textured. Not too raw; not too well done. White rice & refried beans are on point. The quality of their food deserves to be featured in a 2-Michelin star restaurant. Excellent cooking, worth a journey. They should expand into a restaurant in addition to keeping their deli. They probably do
