Lindenhurst Memorial Library

Always clean, one of the most upgraded libraries. More importantly the staff is always professional, friendly, and happy to help. I came in recently to do some work on my resume and somehow my brain forgot how the printing system operated lol. Anyways Dan was super helpful as well as great to meet another person who shares the same taste in movies as I do! Ash helped me request/order a book and didn't mind me sharing about odd subjects I read about haha. Lastly, as I was almost home I realized I lost my key! Was 90% sure it was at the library and whattaya know, lo and behold it was. I came back and my anxiety was relieved as my key and pouch was handed to me. Lindenhurst library to the rescue once again!

My favorite library so far! It's very spacious and has a lot of comfortable seating. Very clean and organized. There is a large number of books. There is a vast variety of DVDs and audio books on the second floor. Also, there is a separate children's section that includes books, computers and a play area for smaller children. Separate study areas are another plus. This library also includes a charging station for your electronic devices. Staff is very friendly.

We love our library 📚 kids department especially. My toddler loves the puzzles! Clean, helpful staff and even help find books. My 4th grader loves the classes at the library for Lego challenge especially.

UPDATE!! The Lindenhurst Memorial Library has taken it up a few notches. It has just about everything you need for a community building. Even hidden little things which I took pictures of. Example, free herbs to pic. If you are on hard times, free food, need to patch or repair your bicycle at the Bike repair station. All outside the Library. Just walk around and see. Inside has lots of new features and areas for all ages. Most importantly, the staff is really helpful. 👏 Bravo, Lindenhurst for a very resourceful community building.

Went in to get a library card and have a document notarized (free service!). Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The building is new and inside everything is bright and clean. I should have gone there sooner. I'm looking for to using some of the rest of the services.
