I had a wonderful dinner at Limani. The lobster pasta was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor — definitely the highlight of the night. The scallops were tender and nicely grilled, paired with vegetables that added the right balance. The atmosphere is upscale and relaxing, and the service was attentive without being overwhelming. A great spot for a special night out.
If you’re searching for the best Mediterranean restaurant in New York City, Limani is an absolute must-visit. Located in the iconic Rockefeller Center, this elegant restaurant blends the warmth of Greek hospitality with a refined fine-dining experience that captures the essence of the Mediterranean coast. We started with their Limani Chips impossibly thin and crisp zucchini and eggplant chips served with tzatziki and the Grilled Octopus, perfectly tender with that smoky char that hits all the right notes. For entrées, the Fragi stood out: a beautifully grilled whole fish, light yet rich in flavor, highlighting the restaurant’s incredible selection of fresh seafood flown in daily. Each fish is displayed in their market-style counter, letting you choose your favorite right from the catch.
Food was okay. They have a wonderful presentation of their seafood but the actual prep was average at best. I was there for a business meeting (small party of 5). Would not go back.
Visited here on a Saturday night and the restaurant looks exactly like the photos on the website. Conveniently located at Rockefeller Center, we walked in and were immediately seated at the fountain centerpiece surrounded by gorgeous white decor. The restaurant only got nicer as it got darker outside. All wait staff were courteous & friendly making good recommendations and engaging conversation. Dinner was delicious. We started with the Feta Wrapped Phyllo. I first had this dish in Greece 2 years ago and I’ve been searching for its equal in the US ever since. Tasted many, but none came close. My wife & I were excited to finally find an authentic match! So flavorful. I would truly go back for this dish alone. Halibut was cooked to perfection, but I do wish the portion was larger. Salmon
Dined here for lunch and would recommend making a reservation as they get busy especially during the week. They have a prefix lunch menu which comes with an app, main and dessert which I selected. I got the octopus appetizer was perfectly cooked, the sea bass which was amazing and the honey yogurt dessert. Another app must is the zucchini and eggplant chips. The white yogurt sauce in the middle is to die for. The space inside is beautiful and the staff was very nice and attentive.
