Lillos Restaurant

You can always judge in Italian restaurant by their sauce. Now since I’m from New Jersey and married an Italian woman and saw her make her own sauce, which was considered to be one of the best by other Italians I can say that the sauce at Lilo‘s is just as good. If this restaurant was in New York City, it would stand out as one of the best. I had catfish, but I got a side of pasta. It was delicious. I was not able to catch the live music, but I intend to be back with a date because I’m guessing you could probably dance as well. I found the atmosphere to be romantic in a sense because of its charm and welcoming. I definitely liked the decor as well. This should be a destination for anyone that visits Mississippi. Great food and live music! The service was good and we enjoyed our experience

I got there early on a Sunday afternoon around 5:35. I was told I couldn’t have a table in the main room because it was all booked up. So they put me in a side room all alone. It took me over 20 minutes to just get a drink. So it was after 6 before I ordered anything. I just wanted spaghetti and meatballs. By now the room had a few tables. All of the tables came in long after I ordered my food. Every table around me had got there food and I’m still waiting on my food. The owner had walked by my table more than 15 times by now. He never asked me if I had. Got my food or anything. So I just canceled my order and left. So I could even say what it was like. Because all I had was a salad that they said had house dressing on it but it just treated like water on it and nothing else on it or in it

Not at all what I expected for Italian food. However the Italian sausage is probably better than you can get anywhere.
