Always such a special meal to share with my best girlfriends. Love the atmosphere, the staff and the food. This time we went for brunch and I ordered the salmon bagel and it was absolutely perfect. My friend ordered the lemon pound cake and coffee and she raved about how moist and delicious it was as well.

Lillian's is a lovely spot to dine or go gor drinks at the bar. Classy atmosphere and a patio area with a nice view. Impeccable service! I particularly love their tomato soup, but also enjoy their salads, omelets, and their breakfast burrito. This is one spot I frequent. Especially nice for weekend brunch! Reservations recommended. No pictures of foods this time, but we did take a picture of the nice birthday treat!

This was a tough rating to give. I really wanted to like Lilian’s, but for the outrageous prices, the food just wasn’t up to par. The French toast was truly fantastic, definitely the star of the meal. The breakfast potatoes were also delicious. Unfortunately, everything else we ordered was lacking in one way or another. The Caesar salad was overpowered by strong lemon flavor, the scrambled eggs were rubbery and completely unseasoned, the chicken sausage was inedible, the pancakes were bland, and the syrup - at a $200-for-3-people-restaurant - was fake/not real maple. The atmosphere is wonderful, and we very much enjoyed sitting outside. But the food was simply not good enough to justify the price.

A Local Gem – Exceptional Dining in the Heart of Rancho Santa Fe Lillian’s has become a true favorite for my wife and me. We visit regularly for both brunch and dinner, whether it’s an intimate date night or an evening out with friends. Each visit is consistently excellent — the food is delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and the service is warm, attentive, and professional. The setting is elegant yet inviting, making it equally perfect for a relaxed morning meal or a special evening together. We especially appreciate the convenience of having such a high-quality restaurant right here in Rancho Santa Fe — it’s local, welcoming, and always reliable. Lillian’s continues to impress with its combination of outstanding cuisine, genuine hospitality, and neighborhood charm. It’s truly one of

I would like to update this review- I won’t change the 2 star rating I gave our Christmas meal, but I want to acknowledge that management did reach out to our group and did a good job listening to what went wrong and genuinely wanted to do better for future visits. I will give Lillian’s another try for brunch or dinner. This review is only for the set Christmas meal $150/person 2025. Our other experiences with this restaurant have been much more positive. We had a 4 PM reservation and started our meal with 3 shared appetizers- pork loin, poached pear salad, and shrimp cocktail. Restaurant was half full at the time of our seating. The shrimp was so rubbery it was hard to eat and the salad lacked dressing, pork was fine. For mains, 2 people in our group had the prime rib, which was good. My
