Customer Reviews
This tofu soup restaurant is well known for its tofu, and it really lives up to the reputation—the tofu is very good and silky, though I wish there was a bit more soup (lol). The seafood pancake was just okay; it didn’t feel fully cooked and wasn’t crispy enough, with the inside a little too soft. The restaurant is a bit old-fashioned, and while the service is slow, the staff is attentive and tries their best. Overall, still a solid spot if you’re coming mainly for the tofu soup.
So many good dishes to try. Four of us shared Combination Tofu Soup ($14.99), Beef and Pork Tofu Soup ($14.99), Bibim Bab ($15.99), and Jeyuk ($23.99). Everything, including the sides, was delicious. Great food and service, reasonable prices.
My friend recommended Lighthouse Tofu as a spot to meet for lunch, and it ended up being a great choice. Just a heads up that parking is a bit limited behind the building, but once you’re inside, the space opens up, it’s surprisingly roomy and comfortable. This is definitely a no-frills, simple Korean restaurant, but everything felt clean and well-kept, including the bathrooms. The menu is very affordable, and the food was good, exactly what you want from a casual tofu house. The staff was friendly, patient, and answered all of our questions before taking our order. Service was quick and straightforward, matching the low-key vibe of the place. Overall, it’s a solid spot for an easy, affordable lunch with good food and no fuss. I’d go back!
Hands down some of the best Korean food and I’m including LA, & NY. Some places may have one specific dish that might be slightly better but their kimchi in my opinion is the best. Try anything and everything you won’t be disappointed
The restaurant feels quite pricey for what you actually get. Portions are on the smaller side, and the overall comfort level didn’t really match the price point. While the ambience and service are decent, the experience still feels expensive for what’s offered. We ordered the seafood and pork soup, but there was barely any meat in it. We had to search for pieces, which was disappointing. On the positive side, the galbi was tasty, and the meat quality was acceptable, better than many other places. Overall, it’s not bad, but it’s hard to justify the high prices. The wait staff also didn’t come across as very friendly or welcoming. They didn’t seem particularly excited to see or serve customers.
