Lighthouse Inn On Lake Michigan

We spent 2 nights at the Lighthouse Inn and enjoyed our stay there.|The guest rooms are large, there is a convenient dining room on sight and a delicious made to order breakfast was included. The staff was so nice, too.|It’s a convenient location for a walk along the beach or a walk to town or a bike ride along the lake.||The bathroom and furniture were dated but the rooms are spacious and included a coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. The beds and pillows were comfortable. My only suggestion would be to add grab bars in the bathroom for safety. I could take one star off for the dated decor, but it didn't really bother me that much, but it might bother others.

Last minute stay. Rooms were spacious & comfortable. Pool & hot tub were great! The view of Lake Michigan was beautiful. Received breakfast vouchers for kids & adults which was great! Overall, we'd stay again.

Positive: The staff was extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions and places to visit!! The housekeeping staff we extremely friendly also! Negative: The servers at the restaurant was SEVERLY understaffed and the food took forever to be served. The rib dinner had hardly any meat on it and the manager was non-existent when asked to speak to them. Not happy AT ALL! We never did get our breakfast food.

Beautiful views from the lake rooms! It is quaint and memorable. From the iron gates closing the reception area off to the quilted bedspread in each room. The restaurant area has a wall of windows overlooking the Beautiful lake! Our room was always clean and the staff very friendly! The shower head, sink and toilet were....short! But worked well! We really enjoyed our stay!

My room was super clean. I called for a reservation and asked for lake view and mentioned I would be doing night photography. Brandy took great care of me placing me in a room on the second floor right next to the exit to the private beach right on Lake Michigan. It was perfect! My room view was gorgeous! The attached restaurant served yummy food (see separate review for Water’s Edge), has a lake view while you dine in and also offers room service! There is ample free parking, strong/fast free wifi throughout the property and in rooms, an exercise room and you get free breakfast made to order in the morning in the restaurant (credit $7.50). The property is a short drive from the city of Manitowoc and close to Point Beach State Park for hiking. Staff were awesome and helpful. I will definit
