The food is great! I usually get the veggie cheeseburger and it is savory, has a great bun and overall an excellent sandwich. I've also tried the reuben and mushroom sandwiches: both are good. And the breads they bake are also superb and a decent price. And if you like a setting out in nature, then the restaurant has it as well. Environment is simple, yet homey.

The BEST veggie burger I've ever had (this is a high compliment from a lifetime vegetarian!) I had it topped with sautéed mushrooms and cheese. Then a cup of the most incredible black bean soup.... I couldn't resist the Mexican wedding cake cookie - fabulous but I ate it before remembering the picture 😋. I'm definitely coming back! Just note they are only open Thursday through Sunday. Fresh bread baking daily Thursday (gf too), Friday and Saturday only.
Lighthouse is one of my absolute favorite places. The small line is well worth it. My go to is the Portabella sandwich with a chai and some of their almond pastries (the plum danish is amazing too, you can’t go wrong with any of it!) I highly recommend you take a morning to spend some time there. Even when busy there is plenty of seating either inside, in the covered area with the heater during cold months, and their garden in the back.
If I could give this place more than five stars, I would! Nestled in the serene foothills, this gem of a bakery is pure magic. Every bite of their food is a celebration of vegetarian goodness — and the best part? Absolutely no eggs in any of their baked goods, which is such a rare and wonderful find. The location itself feels like a retreat — surrounded by lush greenery, a charming garden full of vibrant flowers and herbs, and thoughtfully arranged seating that lets you soak it all in. Whether you choose to sit inside their cozy, welcoming space or outside among the trees and blooms, the ambiance is soul-soothing. But what truly makes this place shine is the people. The team here has the warmest hearts and a genuine spirit of service. You can feel the love in the food, in their smiles, a
