At lunch I tend to wander and today I stumbled upon Life Alive. I was brand new and the gentleman at the counter seem to want my order quickly. I didn't feel I was standing in the way so I can continue to read the menu and stated that there was a lot to choose from. There is a lot going on inside and it's quite confusing with the shop having an entrance inside the restaurant. I ordered my food, he asked if it was to go or for here. I stated for here, I wanted to eat outside it wasn't too sunny, which wouldn't matter anyway because they have ample umbrellas for shade. There was a large group of moms meeting which made me feel very comforted knowing that these women. As I was standing inside waiting for my order another gentleman came up and asked me if I had a number or if I had been ta

The food is always amazing, and the service matches it every time! We were helped by Wilson, who was knowledgeable, polite, and incredibly friendly. He took the time to tell us about the rewards program and made sure our order was accurate by reviewing it carefully. His professionalism and courteous attitude really stood out — Wilson was great! 😊 The rest of the staff was also very welcoming and friendly. Overall, it was another fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

Was looking for vegan food during a one night stay in Boston and while I ordered takeaway, I wish I had chosen to hang out at this adorable place. There was even a yoga studio! I ordered the bibimbap bowl (minus the egg, extra tofu), avocado chocolate mousse, and a special gut smoothie that had kombucha in it. It was delicious and beautiful. The food was incredibly tasty, fresh and filling. Would absolutely come back here again and try other things. Lots of vegan options!

I was a Life Alive stan for more than a decade of my life. When I moved away from Massachusetts, I still craved the Swami bowl and made every effort to get to Life Alive any time I was in town. I now find this place unrecognizable, which is surely related to the sale and subsequent expansion. Sure the aesthetic is a manufactured attempt to relive the old ways, but it lacks the original personality. It’s been a slow process that now affects the food. The bowls I used to enjoy lack the flavor and quality that Life Alive was once known for. Is this subpar ingredients with the original recipes? Tweaks to the recipes that bulk up cheaper ingredients? I think the next time I’m around, I’ll skip Life Alive altogether for the first time since 2010. I see now that espresso is on the menu which i
