In the mood for some ice cream? Then make your way to Lickinghole Creamery & Gifts. The ice cream is wonderful, the atmosphere fun, and the restaurant is stocked with all sorts of cool stuff.

Ice cream flights and pup cups with positive vibes. There were plenty of flavors to decide from so when in doubt, definitely try a flight. Ice cream was great and small gift shop was very cute. One of the friendliest places I've been too in a long time. Whether local or traveling through Virginia we'd highly recommend this pit stop for some sweet treats!

Searched "ice cream near me" after attending the Ashland Strawberry Festival! Lickinghole Creamery came up and my friend and I read the reviews and decided to try something other than the "regular" ice cream spots that popped up! Reese was a doll, she let us sample some flavors but we both decided on the chocolate peanut butter cup, my 2nd scoop was mocha almond fudge and Susan's was vanilla. ALL flavors were delicious! Reese did great big scoops...just like I'd do if was working at an ice cream place! Definitely stop in, they have cute things to sell. It was just fun to sit and read the signs and napkins! Can't wait to bring my hubby back to try the banana pudding!

I love their brownie sundae with chocolate ice-cream and chocolate sprinkles. My son love the vanilla ice-cream with rainbow sprinkles.

Super cute, quaint creamery and gift shop with unique, snarky, artsy gifts. Stopped in for a cone and was pleasantly surprised. The attendant was super friendly and gave us samples of several of the unique flavors. If I lived in the area I would come back here for Xmas stocking stuffer shopping!
