Libby’s Ice Cream

Libby’s Ice Cream is a must-visit in Fortville! The location is incredibly convenient with plenty of parking, and you can’t miss it since it’s right next to the iconic, enormous pink elephant—perfect for a quick photo op. They have a fantastic setup with both indoor and outdoor seating, plus a drive-thru for when you're on the move. I was impressed by their wide selection, ranging from fresh scooped flavors to ready-scoop grab-and-go options; my absolute favorite is the egg nog! We came to Libby’s on Main today and absolutely loved it. The place is super nice and welcoming, and we really enjoyed seeing the photos of local kids from the community on the walls — such a thoughtful, hometown touch that makes the space feel special. The service was truly second to none. Kendall and Laney were amazing — friendly, patient, attentive, and great with the kids. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and the experience. Fantastic atmosphere, outstanding service, and a place we’ll definitely keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

Our family stops at Libby’s Frozen Treats all the time, so we already knew the ice cream was solid. This year we booked their private room for my granddaughter’s birthday, and it was a great choice. The space was easy to use, the staff had everything ready, and the kids genuinely had a good time. If you need a simple, reliable spot for a family celebration—or just a regular ice cream run—Libby’s is always worth it.

After growing up in a small town and moving to Marion county, I always craved the small business/small town feel.
